FAQ's

Q:- What are the dates of the Convention? 

A:- Thursday 10th-Sunday 13th October 2024.

Q:- What dates are the master classes?

A:- Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th & Monday 14th October 2024.

Q:- Where is this show held?

A:- Doubletree by Hilton, Coventry, CV2 2ST, UK.

Q:- Can anyone attend this show?

A: No. It is only open to professional face/body or MUAs. We will check all sales to ensure they are experienced or work in the industry.

Q: What should we bring to the show?

A:- Cash- some traders do not have card readers. If you are staying in the hotel, bring a dark towel. A small kit for the "hands-on classes" and if you are attending the Friday night competitions and jam.

Q:- What is included in a day ticket?

A:- lunch, refreshments in the conference rooms, show bag, classes between 9 am-5.30 pm and the retailer's room

Q:- What is included in an all-inclusive ticket?

A:- Bedroom the night you are stopping, all meals, refreshments in the conference suite between 9 am-5 pm, showed bag on day one, classes between 9 am-5.30 pm, night time parties. 

Q: Can I bring my model to the Friday night jam?

A:- NO, you can always paint one of the other Delegates

Q:- My friend doesn't want to buy a nighttime ticket but would like to meet me at the bar at night. Is this ok?

A:_ I am afraid not; there is no public bar, and the evenings are only open to paid night-time ticket holders or all-inclusive tickets. We have hired the hotel at a fully inclusive rate; no public or non-ticket holder is allowed. If event staff see anyone without a lanyard, they will be asked to put it on or leave the building. We have to register each name for H&S reasons.

Q:- I am attending the banquet night. Do I have to dress up?

A: It is always so much fun when people dress up. There are so many awesome costumes. However, some people do not dress up; it is entirely up to you. 

Q: My arrival ticket starts at 5.30 pm on Friday. If I arrive early, can I attend the classes?

A: I am afraid not. If you arrive early, you can check into your bedroom from 3 pm and enjoy the leisure facilities. However, you won't be able to collect your lanyards and entry tickets to the show until 5.30 pm. However, you can upgrade on the day if you arrive early and like to attend classes.

Is there a cash point at the hotel

A:-NO, however, there is a local ATM at the nearest Supermarket 

Q:-I do not have a dog sitter. Can I bring my dog

A:- Yes, as a supplement, please check with the hotel when you arrive. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or function rooms to protect children and Delegates

Q:- What is the dress code?

Thursday night is our VIP night; smart attire is welcome. Friday night is our jam so casual; it is also our clown hat night, with prizes for the best! Saturday night is our banquet night at the circus /The Greatest Show, and Sunday night is smart casual.

Q:_ I see online that there's no free parking at this hotel

A:_That's correct; however, ticket holders at this year's show will be free as long as you register your car when you arrive.

Q: Is there a facility to reserve the 2026 show tickets before I leave the hotel, and are there any incentives?

A:_ Yes, on Sunday, in the hotel reception, there will be a 2026 sign-up desk to book your tickets. You will pay a small deposit of £20 and have the opportunity to spend over a 22-month payment plan. These are usually "Early bird priced tickets."
